Cesar received his degrees at New York University in Cinema Studies, which incorporated Film Production classes. During his education, he made several student films, in which he produced, directed, wrote, shot, and edited. Cesar also collaborated with his fellow classmates in their productions in various roles, such as an Assistant Director or Script Supervisor.
In 2015, Cesar released his first short film "A Fool on My Side" on Vimeo. It was a short film he produced, directed, wrote, and edited. He created his second short film "The Sister I Keep" in 2016. Cesar is also in the process of developing two feature films and a webseries.
Mr. Solla has held additional position on other short film productions. He was a Line Producer on "Again." (2016) by Claire Zajdel and a Production Assistant and Camera Assistant for the short film "Pouring Glory" (2017) by Darren Lipari. In November 2018, Cesar joined Ringo Films for the short film "Three Sides of a Circle" as a Second Assistant Director.
